What we collect

If you email. There are no forms on this website. The email link opens your own email app. If you choose to write, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include about yourself or your business. Emailing is voluntary, but we need your email address to reply.

When you visit. Like most websites, visiting involves technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the pages requested, and error or security logs. This is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and keep it secure, and may include basic platform diagnostics.

Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser details. See Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

The website itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies, has no newsletter sign-up, takes no payments and does not make automated decisions about you.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss any service you ask about, including steps you ask us to take before any agreement (where applicable), and otherwise in our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries.
• To run the website securely and fix problems (legitimate interests).
• To meet legal obligations, where any apply.

We do not add you to marketing lists because you have emailed.

Who handles it

We use service providers to run the website (Lovable, for hosting), deliver email (Microsoft) and load fonts (Google). They may process information outside the UK. If you have a question about this, please email us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails while the conversation is active and for as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, to deal with any dispute, or to meet legal requirements. Then we delete them. Technical logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own retention practices.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to data portability. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To ask, email maria@mariafethers.com.
